BIM/Revit

The Nijburg Industry Group is increasingly being asked to become involved at an early stage of the design process. For example, by advising installers or consultants on which air distribution equipment is best suited for a specific situation. This is why BIM holds a prominent position within our organization. We have an extensive BIM library and use state‑of‑the‑art calculation and simulation software, enabling us to design quickly, accurately and efficiently.

Our Revit models

Because our models comply as closely as possible with the NLRS standard, they are easily exchangeable with other models that follow the same standard. Where possible, the models are supplied with a (PDF) manual, which is added to the website alongside the Revit model. By applying this standard, more generic tags can be used, eliminating the need to create separate tags for each manufacturer. This naturally also applies to schedules.

In addition, we add selection intelligence wherever possible. This means that when adjustments are made, it is not necessary to go through the entire selection process again: the effects of increasing or decreasing air volumes can be read directly within the model.

Version Numbers

When a new version of a model becomes available, it can be downloaded directly from the website. It is important to take the following version numbering into account:

NLRS_C_content_version: x.yy.zz
  • x: Major version of the model. Models with the same major version are compatible.
  • yy: Lowest supported Revit version.
  • zz: Subversion: sequential version number.

A model with version 3.18.01 can therefore be used starting from Revit 2018, and can always be upgraded to any other version that begins with the number 3 (for example 3.18.02, 3.20.03).

Version 3.18.02 is not necessarily the same as version 3.20.02, since 3.20.02 is only suitable for Revit 2020 and later, rather than Revit 2018 and later.

When upgrading the Revit version, optimizations, corrections or product modifications may have been implemented.
